Three former army friends meet for a reunion in New York after ten years apart, and find that they have little left in common. An uncommonly cynical, even unhappy musical with notably unusual dance routines—factors which granted it critical acclaim upon release, but confused audiences of the 1950s. Nominated for two Academy Awards including Best Screenplay.
