Noted pulp fiction author Gil Brewer was one of the major writers in the Gold Medal line of paperback originals. This is the first of two books by Brewer published in hardcover, the other being "The Red Scarf" in 1958.
Very Good in a Very Good dust jacket. Faint adhesive residue on the top and bottom board edges, likely from an old Brodart protector, and faint foxing on the endpapers and page edges. Jacket lightly edgeworn, with a faintly faded spine panel.
