The Philadelphia Black Film Festival, also known as the Black American Film Festival, was founded by independent producer, filmmaker, and film scholar Oliver Franklin in 1972. Franklin also organized several traveling Black film festivals in the 1970s and 1980s.

17.75 x 23.75 inches. Very Good, with creasing to the extremities, a faint center vertical crease, a one inch closed tear to the upper right and a two inch closed tear to the top center.
