A police detective uncovers a conspiracy behind a string of false rape accusations made against a guidance counselor at an upscale suburban school. Followed by three sequels: "Wild Things 2" (2004), "Wild Things: Diamonds in the Rough" (2005), and "Wild Things: Foursome" (2010).

Set in Miami, shot on location in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Key Biscayne, Florida, and in Los Angeles.
