The Missouri Breaks
Various cities: Goldwyn Studios / EK Corporation, 1975. Draft script for the 1976 film. SIGNED by novelist and screenwriter Thomas McGuane on the title page. Included with the script are two reference photographs of actor Jack Nicholson on the set of the film.
An outrageously absurd revisionist Western, about an eccentric Irish-American "regulator" who is hired to hunt down a gang of horse thieves. Largely derided at the time of its release, the film has since been reevaluated as one of the more fascinating Westerns of the 1970s.
