Based on Eiji Yoshikawa's 1935 novel "Musashi," which was loosely based on the life of the famous Japanese swordsman Musashi Miyamoto. The third film of director Hiroshi Inagaki's Samurai Trilogy, preceded by the Academy Award winning 1954 film "Samuri I: Musasi Mijamoto" and the 1955 film "Samurai II: Duel at Ichijoji Temple," all three starring Toshiro Mifune as Musashi Miyamoto.
Musashi Miyamoto has abandoned his life as a knight errant but agrees to fight the skillful Sasaki Kojiro in a year's time.
20 x 28 inches. Folded as issued. Very Good plus, with a small chip to the bottom left corner, and several pieces of cello tape on the versos at the extremities.
