Samurai II: Duel at Ichijoji Temple

Based on Eiji Yoshikawa's 1935 novel "Musashi," which was loosely based on the life of the famous Japanese swordsman Musashi Miyamoto. The second film of director Hiroshi Inagaki's Samurai Trilogy, preceded by the Academy Award winning 1954 film "Samurai I: Musasi Mijamoto" and followed by the 1956 film "Samurai III: Duel at Ganryu Island," all three starring Toshiro Mifune as Musashi Miyamoto.

Musashi Miyamoto returns to Kyoto after years of absence and comes face to face with hordes of rivals intent on cutting him down.

20 x 19.5 inches. Folded as issued. Very Good, with a small chip to the top right corner and a bruise to the top left corner, several pieces of cello tape to the rectos and versos at the far extremities, and moderate overall edgewear.
