Mr. Klein [Monsieur Klein]

N.p. Lira Films, Circa 1977. Vintage one sheet poster for the 1976 French/Italian film.

Director Joseph Losey's horrifying Kafkaesque indictment of fascism, wherein a disreputable Parisian art dealer (Alain Delon) in 1942 Paris, under Nazi rule, living luxuriously by buying valuable art for pennies on the dollar from Jews attempting to flee the country, is mistaken for a Jewish man with the same name sought by the police. Nominated for the Palme d'Or.

Shot on location in Paris.

27 x 41 inches, folded as issued. Very Good plus, with closed tears at the top right crease and center left crease.

Grant France.
