Paris and Los Angeles: Twentieth Century-Fox, 1971. Collection of 3 vintage black-and-white borderless still photographs from the French release of the 1971 French film. Each of the three stills is rubber stamped "1971" on the reverse, with other stamps, variously, for publicist Thessa Sigrist and Jaques E. Strauss of President films.

Based on the 1963 novel, "Ten Plus One" by Ed McBain, one of the author's 87th Precinct novels, with director Labro transplanting the action to France. An undereappreciated, hardboiled crime thriller in which a detective (Trintignant) becomes embroiled in a complex triple-murder set. Director Labro made the film a study in contrast: a grim noir set against the backdrop of sunny Nice.

Set in Nice, and shot on location there.

8 x 10 inches. Near Fine.
