Based on Leonard Gershe's 1969 play, and adapted by Gershe. Eileen Heckart won an Academy Award for her supporting role. The first of director Milton Katselas' four features, the others being "40 Carats" (1973), "Report to the Commissioner" (1975), and "When You Comin' Back, Red Ryder?" (1979).
Yellow titled wrappers, adorned with illustrations of pink and orange butterflies. Title page present, dated August 16, 1971, noted as SHOOTING SCRIPT, with a credit for screenwriter Gershe. 126 leaves on pink stock, mechanical duplication, with the last leaf of text numbered 125. Pages and wrapper Near Fine, internally bound with three gold brads.
