The actress is pictured at an event presumably related to "The Leopard," the 1963 Luchino Visconti film that starred her alongside Burt Lancaster and Alain Delon.

Irv Steinberg was a renowned celebrity photographer who took thousands of pictures of notable personalities from all fields of endeavor. Steinberg spent 30 years photographing celebrities like Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Lucille Ball, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Clark Gable, and several US presidents. He began working in the late 1940s, taking pictures at major events in New York City, and has been published in nearly every major magazine, including Time, Life, People, and Newsweek. Many Steinberg photographs were snapshots, like this one, featuring a keen sense of timing and place.
