District Attorney Stephen Pettijohn (Craven) returns to his alma mater to lecture on circumstantial evidence, and references a recent murder case. A local banker weds a young woman against the will of another man, and the banker is later found dead. A remake of the 1929 John G. Blystone film of the same name.
