The Nabob Affair [Au Voleur]

Paris: Omnifilms, Circa 1959. Draft script for the 1960 film "The Nabob Affair" here under the French title, "Au Voleur!" (translated: Thief!). Written by Sacha Guitry but subsequently reworked by Jean Bernard-Luc, and released after Guitry's death. Laid in are eight pages detailing production, including sets and shooting times, from Sacha Guitry, carbon typescript on onionskin stock, rubber-stamped "Carlton Cole," a talent agency in New York. Also rubber-stamped on the script title page, with a brief notation in holograph ink. Brief annotations in holograph pencil throughout.

A mysterious employer hires a man to steal a rare diamond, who in turn engages an attractive and intelligent woman to help him.
