Based on Erich von Daniken's 1968 book, "Chariots of the Gods?," a look at early human history and the possibility of extraterrestrial influences. Sequel to Reinl's previous alien documentary, "Chariots of the Gods" (1970), a film that was edited and dubbed in English and narrated by Rod Serling. This time Shatner narrates. The film was edited and dubbed in English, directed and written then by Charles Romine. NASA representatives make their opinions known, and various other "enthusiasts" perk Shatner's genuine intrigue.
