Barbara Eden plays a quirky, resourceful cosmetic saleswoman Stella Johnson who, after her young daughter is singled out by the nosey PTA for her mother's liberal lifestyle, decides to take on the organization using any means necessary, with comedic results. Basis for the 1981 television series of the same name, also starring Barbara Eden.

Set in Harper Valley, shot on location in Lebanon, Ohio.
