Joanne (Crane) is a young bride-to-be who finds her fiancee's diary, a diary that includes lurid tales of his sexual exploits. One of his past triumphs, an airline hostess, re-emerges, comes between the couple, and eventually breaks up their engagement.

Comedian Dom DeLuise has a small role in the film, his second movie credit.
