Draft script for an unproduced British film called "Act of Treason," written by Guy Elmes, based on Lillian Hellman's adaptation of Emmanuel Robles' 1948 play, "Montserrat." Screenwriter Elmes also wrote for films like "Bad Blonde" (1953), "Across the Bridge" (1957), "Pontius Pilate" (1962), "the Invincible Six" (1970), and "White Fang" (1973).

Robles' play opened in Paris in 1948, a story about the civil war in Venezuela during the early 1800s, where a Spanish officer commits treason and joins the Venezuelan revolutionaries.

Guy Elmes is a screenwriter, primarily known for his work in writing the original story and screenplay for "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square" (1979).
