Rodin

A biopic on the French sculptor Auguste Rodin and the turbulent relationships he has with everyone around him. Among his doomed romances are his mistress and, in the last year of both their lives, his eventual wife, Rose, as well as a host of other women, including Camille, a sculptor to whom he is a mentor. Among his friends are Edmond, a long admirer of the artist who only wants what is best for him. His work is both praised and rejected by the French, torturing him to the point of starvation and leading to his demise.

Set in Paris.
