Based on the 1971 novel by Peter Ustinov. A hardboiled New York police detective goes on an adventure in Europe, starting with trying to get a drink in a pub in the UK, with all the kindness and sensitivity of a bull in a china shop.

Maroon wrappers with a die-cut title window in the British style. Title page present, noted as Revised Draft, with credits for screenwriters Alvin Rakoff, and Peter King, and author Peter Ustinov. 104 leaves, with last page of text numbered 103. Mechanical duplication. Pages Very Good plus, wrapper Very Good plus bound internally with two silver brads.
