N.p. N.p., 1976. Draft script for an unproduced film. Eight leaves laid in, including a request to actor Rod Steiger to have him star in the film, a document stating the intentions of screenwriter Henri Glaeser to have Faye Dunaway also star, and a letter to agent Paul Kohner.

Based on the 1948 novel of the same title by Ramón Sender. A Spanish duchess enjoys teasing and sexually frustrating her gardener. She finds herself at his mercy when the country comes under siege by the Republicans, and must come to terms with the realization that they are now equal under the new national order.

Set in Madrid.
