An anthology film featuring five stories about swindlers around the world, with Seberg appearing as a journalist accused of passing fake currency, who then tracks down and interviews the counterfeiter, in the segment "Le grand escroc" ("The Great Swindler") directed by Jean-Luc Godard. Other segments were directed by Claude Chabrol, Ugo Gregoretti, Hiromichi Horikawa, and Roman Polanski.
