A few months after graduating high school, the eponymous teen couple Nick and Emily discover that Emily is pregnant, forcing the pair to grow up more quickly than anticipated. Screenwriter R. Lee Fleming Jr. was better known for his involvement in early 2000s young adult-oriented television shows such as "Friends" (2001-2004) and "One Tree Hill" (2004-2006), as well as the films "She's All That" (1999) and "Get Over It" (2001).

Set in Burbank, CA.
