Little Shoes

N.p. N.p., Circa 1951. Vintage manuscript for a short story, originally published in the December, 1951 issue of "The Link" magazine. With a few manuscript pencil annotations throughout addressing grammatical revisions.

On Christmas Eve in South Korea, a soldier with tiny feet decides gives his new shoes to a small Korean boy who has been traveling with his outfit. Author Jack Lewis was best known for his work as a screenwriter on films such as "Outlaw Gold" (1950), "Whistling Hills" (1951), "The Amazing Transparent Man" (1960), and "Black Eagle of Santa Fe" (1965).

Set in South Korea.

White titled self-wrappers. Title integral to the first leaf, presumably as issued. 11 leaves, with last page of text numbered 11. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages Very Good plus, partially bound with a single paper clip.
