A Christmas melodrama depicting the life of Austrian composer Franz Gruber and the creation of his most famous work, "Silent Night," in 1796. Screenwriter Charles Bennett was best known for his work with Alfred Hitchcock in the 1930s, writing "The 39 Steps" (1935), "Secret Agent" (1936), "Sabotage" (1936), and "Young and Innocent" (1937).
Set in Salzburg.
Housed in a black three-ring binder. Title page present, with credits for screenwriters Charles Bennett and Otto Klement. 181 leaves, with last page of text numbered 152. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages Very Good plus.
