An Army veteran travels to California to convince the most highly-decorated man in the US military (now an aged comic book lending librarian) to come out of retirement to lead a mercenary mission to recoup 30 million dollars on behalf of the Prime Minister of a small South American country.

Set on the California coast and the fictional town of Playa del Oro.
