NBC aired the True Crime television series Gang Busters from March 20, 1952 to October 23, 1952 and reedited the three episode storyline The Pinson Gang into the 1955 feature film Gang Busters.

Lifelong criminal Pinson (Healy) keeps escaping from prison. Loosely based on Omar August Pinson, American robber and murderer.
