Three original photographs of Iggy Pop and David Bowie, 1977
N.p. N.p., 1977. Three vintage black and white photographs of musician Iggy Pop performing onstage, backed by David Bowie on keyboard, at the Plateau Auditorium in Montreal in 1977. With the stamp of photographer Duana LeMay to the verso.
After ending his affiliation with The Stooges in 1976, Pop moved to West Berlin with Bowie, where the pair attempted to wean themselves off of drugs while collaborating on Pop's first solo album, "The Idiot." Pop's first world tour in 1977 featured Bowie on keyboards and backing vocals, and ran for 29 performances throughout England, the US, and Canada.
