Culver City, CA: Columbia Pictures, 1957. Collection of four vintage studio still photographs from the 1958 film. Mimeo snipe and Columbia Pictures copyright stamp with photo credit for Van Pelt, on verso of all photographs.
Based on the 1949 novel by Fredric Brown.
One of the weirdest and most wonderful of the Columbia B-noirs, a very faithful adaptation of Brown's byzantine mystery novel, with Anita Ekberg (pre-"La Dolce Vita") put to good use as a dancing siren, and the Red Norvo Trio performing icy strains of modern jazz both live and in the soundtrack.
