An African American man recalls his experiences as a surveyor during World War II, in particular remembering a troubled reconnaissance mission on a Japanese-controlled island with a platoon of hostile, racist soldiers.

Set in the Pacific Islands, shot on location in Malibu and Baldwin Hills, California.
