New York: Dial, 1948. First Edition. Basis for John Huston's 1949 film "We Were Strangers," starring Jennifer Jones and John Garfield. Scarce.

Very Good in a Good dust jacket. Board and spine edges lightly worn, with a three-inch dampstain to the bottom edge of the rear board. Jacket chipped and creased at the spine ends, tips, and rear hinge, with some soil and rubbing to the extremities.
