N.p. N.p., Circa 1969. Three vintage borderless reference photographs, two of Jacques Demy and Anouk Aimee, and one of Demy and an unidentified crew member, on the set of the 1969 film. Provenance stamps of film scholar and author "J. P. Berthome" on versos of all three, one with cropping annotations in holograph ink and "National Film Archive" stamp on verso.

Jacques Demy's first English speaking film, recently a subject of renewed interest in two different documentaries about the Laurel Canyon music scene of the late 1960s.

George (Gary Lockwood), living in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles, in a discontented relationship with his girlfriend Gloria (Hay), learns his draft notice arrived and is due to report for Army duty the following week. While out trying to raise money to keep his car from being repossessed, he sees, and becomes obsessed by, the beautiful Lola (Anouk Aimee reprising her role from Demy's 1960 "Lola"), an older French model who works in a "model shop" posing for photographers.

Set in and shot on location in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles, California.
