The Ghost Squad: Hong Kong Story
London: J. Arthur Rank, 1960. Draft script for the pilot episode of the 1961-1964 television series, which originally aired on ATV on September 9, 1961.
Based on the 1959 book by John Gosling. The series followed an elite division of Scotland Yard nicknamed the "Ghost Squad," generally sent to investigate unusual cases which fell outside the scope of normal police work. In this first entry, a squad operator is sent to investigate a criminal ring smuggling gold from Hong Kong to Karachi.
