A lawyer investigates the wrongful detainment of his partner by the police, who he suspects has been held due to his political activities during a recent social unrest. Screenwriter Michael Sarne is best known for his work as a director, including "Joanna" (1968) and "Myra Breckinridge" (1970), and as an actor, most notably in "Intimidade" (1975) and "Eastern Promises" (2007).

Set in South America.
