N.p. N.p., 1959. Draft script for the 18th episode of season 3 of the 1956-1961 television playhouse series, which originally aired on February 5, 1959. Copy belonging to director George Roy Hill, with a printed label noting his name on the verso of the front wrapper, and his manuscript ink annotations throughout, noting deletions and substantive changes.

A kinescope of the program survived and is available for viewing only at the Paley Center for Media in Los Angeles.

Based on Michel del Castillo's autobiographical 1957 novel "Tanguy." A young Spanish-French refugee is captured by the Nazis and interned in a concentration camp, but finds happiness in Spain after the war. An early effort from the great George Roy Hill, who was best known in the ensuing years for "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" (1969) and "The Sting" (1973).

Set in France and Germany.
