In 1939 Bergman was cast by producer David O. Selznick in "Intermezzo: A Love Story," her first American acting role, a remake of the Swedish film "Intermezzo," in which Bergman had also starred. The film was an enormous success, the first of many in Bergman's Hollywood career.

13.75 x 10.5 inches. Very Good plus, lightly toned to the edges, with a small diagonal crease to the top right corner.
