Based on the 1908 play by Walter C. Hackett and Owen Frawley Kildare, in turn based on Kildare's 1903 memoir "My Mamie Rose." A poor Irish-American orphan rises into power as a mob leader, but decides to cut his criminal ties when he falls in love with a beautiful social worker. One of the first full-length gangster films, presumed to be lost until the 1970s and now preserved at the Museum of Modern Art's Department of Film.

Set in New York.

14 x 11 inches. Very Good, moderately toned and edgeworn, with pinholes to the corners.
