A Technicolor musical fantasy about a boy who dreams he is a world ruled by a diabolical piano teacher who enslaves children and forces them to play a piano so immense, it takes 500 children to play it. The only feature film written by Theodor Geisel (Dr. Seuss), who co-wrote the screenplay and song lyrics.
