Courage of Black Beauty

Los Angeles: Alco Pictures, 1956. Final script for the 1957 television film. Text divided into three scripts, titled "Blessed Event," "Brand New Shoes," and "Decision," bound together in blue card wrappers. Copies belonging to actor Johnny Crawford, with his name to front wrappers and title page, and manuscript ink annotations noting his lines throughout.

Based on Anna Sewell's classic 1877 novel "Black Beauty." A young boy receives a foal from his emotionally distant, widowed father as a present on his tenth birthday, and soon forms a strong bond with the animal.

All screenplays housed together in blue card wrappers, bound with a silver prong.
