A young African American man tries to make it big in Hollywood, and finally secures a job as a studio runner, leading to a number of comic misunderstandings.
African-American screenwriter Ralph Farquhar began his career in 1981 with a script for "Happy Days," and went on to write 43 episodes for the the very white "Married with Children," but also for many African-American television series and TV movies, including "Fame," "Krush Groove," "Livin' Large," "New Attitude," "The Sinbad Show," "South Central," "Moesha," "The Parkers," and "The Proud Family."
Self wrappers. Title page present, dated October 5, 1984, noted as REVISED 2ND DRAFT, with credits for screenwriter Ralph R. Farquhar. 112 leaves, with last page of text numbered 111. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Very Good plus, lightly soiled and edgeworn bound with two gold brads.
