A young punk singer from London rises to stardom, but discovers that fame comes at the expense of her friends and integrity. The directorial debut of Brian Gibson, who would go on to direct a plethora of films focusing on rock musicians, most notably "What's Love Got to Do with It" (1993) and "Still Crazy" (1998).
