Hollywood: Paramount Pictures, 1985. Vintage promotional flyer from the 1974 film.

The granddaddy of all modern vigilante movies, and a watershed film for rugged American icon Charles Bronson, who had roles in many crime and adventure films prior to 1974, but met with destiny as an iceman. The series became a franchise, with Bronson's character falling deeper into a typecast mold with each outing. But this first film is a different matter, quite faithful to Brian Garfield's novel, one of the great films of the New Hollywood cinema, a great New York location film, and a statement on the rampant and epidemic spread of urban crime in the US during the 1970s.

8.25 x 11.75 inches. Very Good plus, with a light horizontal crease affecting the center of the flyer, and a faint vertical crease running the length of the left edge.
