Loosely based on Howard Hawks' 1946 film "The Big Sleep," in turn based on the 1939 novel by Raymond Chandler. A young woman from Paris goes into the countryside to meet her lover, but soon realizes he has been killed by gangsters, leading her to investigate.

Bi-fold, 6.5 x 8.5 inches. Very Good plus, lightly toned overall.
