A young upper-middle class Italian man joins Mussolini's Organization for Vigilance and Repression of Anti-Fascism, and his first assignment is to assassinate his former teacher, a political dissident now residing in France with his attractive young wife. An intricate and incisive examination of the psychological tribulations of a man who will do anything to be "normal," compared stylistically to early German Expressionist works, such as Leni Riefenstahl's "Triumph of the Will" (1935) or Fritz Lang's "Metropolis" (1927).

9.5 x 7.25 inches. Near Fine.
