N.p. N.p., Circa 1940s. Two vintage photographs of all-girl dance and vaudeville group The Biltmorettes, circa 1940s. With the insignia of Bruno Bernard, also known as Bruno of Hollywood, to the bottom right corners of the rectos, and Bernard's corresponding stamp to the verso.

The Biltmorettes were an acrobatic dance group mostly active in the late 1930s and 1940s, appearing in several musical revues, including "Hellzapoppin" (1943) and "Sons o' Fun" (1943), as well as making a brief appearance in the film "Carnival Time" (1936).

German-born photographer Bruno Bernard worked as a glamor photographer after moving to Los Angeles in 1937, developing a distinct portrait style which many consider to be a predecessor to modern pin-up photography. He is now best-known for his iconic images of Marilyn Monroe, including several early photographs taken at the Racquet Club in Palm Springs in 1947, before her rise to fame.
