Miller was initially cast in the role of Leroy, although a motorcycle crash during filming left him with several broken ribs, leading to his replacement by actor George Sims.

Violence threatens to erupt in a small town when a gang of former Hell's Angels bikers are wrongfully accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl. One of a handful of films in which actor John Cassavetes agreed to star in order to secure financing for his independent 1968 film "Faces."
