Based on Lajos Biro's 1917 play "Hotel Imperial: Szinmu negy felvonasban." During World War II, a British soldier passes himself off as a waiter at the hotel commandeered by Nazis, later becoming entrenched in a German spying scheme.

Set in north Africa, and shot on location in California and Arizona.
