A View from the Bridge
New York: Graphic Arts Photo Service, 1961. Vintage borderless reference photograph of director Sidney Lumet and a camera crew on the set of the 1962 film, filming a scene with actor Raf Vallone. Stamp of photographer Josh Weiner on the verso, along with a Graphic Arts Photo Service stamp and a date stamp reading APR 17 1961.
Based on the 1955 play by Arthur Miller, about an unhappily married man whose obsession with his niece leads to tragedy when she falls for an immigrant who is staying with them. The first American film to feature a kiss between two men, though ultimately it is an act of accusation against one of the men, rather than a romantic kiss.
Shot on location in New York City and Rome.
10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus, with light edgewear.
