Ralph Records and its graphic wing Pore-Know Graphics (Porno Graphics) was founded in 1972 to publish the work of the multi-media art collective The Residents. In the late 1970s Ralph Records began releasing other experimental and avante-garde musicians including those promoted on this poster. In 1976 The Residents formed The Cryptic Corporation to manage and represent the band and took over the day-to-day operations of Ralph Records. Ralph Records closed in 2010.
