Madrid: Deseo El, 1989. Original Spanish film poster for the 1989 Spanish film, directed by Pedro Almodovar. Juan Gatti's dazzling and innovative lithographic design was later co-opted for the US film poster, but to noticeably lessened effect.

Almodovar's classic comedy introduced Antonio Banderas to the English-speaking world (or don't you remember?), and was instrumental in creating the NC-17 rating in the United States.
