Jones is best remembered for his work for Warner Brothers, co-creating characters for the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts (including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, Pepé Le Pew, and Porky Pig). Jones won an Academy Award for his 1965 short film "The Dot and the Line," and was presented with an Honorary Academy Award in 1996.
